To support those conversations, we are shining a spotlight on the 13 psychosocial factors from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Psychosocial factors are things at work that can affect how people feel mentally and emotionally and are part of what employers can control and are responsible for in the workplace. They include things like how the work is done, deadlines and how much work there is, as well as the environment where work happens. It’s important for employers to assess and address psychosocial factors using the 13 Psychosocial Factors that contribute to workplace psychological health and safety. For Safety and Health Week we are focusing on three of 13 Psychosocial Factors to help employers get started: These infographics and videos outline the importance of addressing these factors in your workplace. |
